The Mediterranean Real Estate Exhibition, SIMed, closed its thirteenth edition on November 12 with more than 7,000 business contacts of interest to over than 150 companies represented, which could materialize in sales during the coming months.
This increase, double with respect to 2016, also responds to the increase in visitors, more than 7,000 over the weekend, which is 25% over than last year’s edition. Likewise, after collecting the data from the surveys transferred to exhibitors, an increase in “quality” in items of the actual disposition of purchase is apreciated. Also, the attending companies foresee that, of the contacts established, they will be translated into sales up to 50%.
In relation to visitors, the definition of two profiles cleary stands out. On the one hand, the private buyer of “high quality” and, on the other hand, the investor, whose presence was mainly concentrated on Friday and Saturday morning.
The thirteenth edition of SIMed has surpassed the indicators set in 2016 and makes a quantitative leap with more than 150 companies represented in the show, which represents a growth of 76%. offering more than 20,000 properties. It has also grown the space occupied, which doubles, and welcomes a new offer such as the auxiliary industry, in the case of large builders suppliers, reform, rehabilitation and decoration of homes, among others. Along with this, 2017 was the year of momentum of the promoter sector that has gained ground and has reaffirmed its growth in parallel with the reactivation of the market.
It should be noted that the show has experienced its most professional edition with the celebration of several days throughout the weekend. The specific program began on Thursday 9 the celebration of the VI Professional Conference organizad by Atalaya Team, which was addressed, among other issues and by the expert Ignacio Castillo, the keys of the “top producer”, that is, the maximum in sales. In addition, during all the days of celebration, the space “Speakers Corner” has hosted highly specialized talks by exhibitors and experts, which has dealt with topics such as presentation of innovative materials, sales techniques, partnership, strategic collaborations, mediation with the international client, new channels for the real estate sector, application of virtual reality and 3D, as well as opportunities in investment and advice.
SIMed has been organized by the Palace of Congresses and Fairs of Malaga, dependent of the City Council of Malaga. It has had the collaboration of Unicaja, Promalaga, the Digital Content Pole and the Provincial Association of Builders and Promoters of Malaga (ACP).
